📌 Digital Oxygen Index Tester Overview

The Digital Oxygen Index Tester is manufactured according to international standards such as GB18380.11/12-2022 and IEC60332-1-1:2015. It is used to measure the volume percentage of oxygen required for the combustion of polymers. The oxygen index of the polymer refers to the minimum oxygen concentration in the oxygen-nitrogen mixed gas flow required to maintain the combustion of the sample after ignition, with a burn length of 50mm or a burn time of 180 seconds. This test is used to evaluate the combustion performance of polymers, especially their flame retardancy and fire safety.

This instrument can be used as a means of identifying the flame retardancy of polymers and as a research tool for laboratory research on flame-retardant formulations.
